Are you an able bodied citizen who wants to do more for their country?
The Superhero Army is recruiting and they are looking for young men and women to fight against the Villains!
Enlistment for the army lasts through July until the 31st. You have until then to enlist by creating a member of either the Superhero Army, the Sidekick Corps (coming soon), or the Psi-Ops (coming soon).

How to enlist:
*Just create your own member of the Superhero Army! It can be a human or an animal If you so desire. Give them fun powers, a cool costume, and a name but make sure to read the requirements below.
* If you’re interested, note me and I will provide you with the official Superhero Army logo to put in the corner or your picture! Then note me again when your submission is finished so I can post it on the roster list! Only images on the roster list will count as official Superhero Army members. So make sure it’s on the list! (The Roster list will be at the bottom of this journal)
*The image can be black and white, but colored is preferred and in any medium of your choice.
* The image should be, at maximum, a character drawing. No background or scenery necessary!

Here are the requirements:
*Your character’s design must include the black domino mask depicted on the Superhero Army logo. The only exception for this is if your character is in the Psi-Ops.
*Your character’s costume must be in shades of brown so we can be able to identify them from the enemy. You may use the valiant heroes you see depicted in the posters as a color reference.
* Although not a requirement. The Superhero Army has a 40s-50s era influence and a Golden Age of comics influence. If you can work those elements into your characters that’s great!
* Aside from the mask, the members of the Superhero army do not have costume specifications. If you are in the Sidekick corps you will need to include the Corps’ capes, anyone in Psi-Ops doesn’t really have superhero outfits or masks since they are in espionage but their clothes still should be brownish.

Sidekick Corps? Psi-Ops?
Like any good offensive, there are different branches!
The Superhero Army is fighting on the front lines, using their fantastic powers to ward off evil!
Those too young to fight face to face with the Villains assist our heroes in the Sidekick Corps. They are also trained to hone their abilities so one day they may rise to the rank of Superhero.
The Psi-Ops are away from the front lines protecting our nations secrets in the MindTrust or finding out secrets from the Villains as spies. Their jobs are more discreet and less glorious than that of the Superhero Army, but still just as important!

What’s the catch?
*If you have your member of the Superhero Army, Sidekick Corps, or Psi-Ops on the roster by July 31st you will be eligible to win some MikeyBooch art! The number of winners depends on the number of recruits the Superhero Army gets, but being optimistic:
First Prize: One colored character, no/color background. Or two characters inked.
Second Prize: One inked character or one Sharpie portrait. Or two characters in pencil.
Third Prize: One character in pencil.

Who can join?
Why anybody! So tell your friends! I will accept applications from any deviantART member, watcher or not!
